The vibrant Wynwood Arts District is the epicenter of contemporary art in Miami, only 15 minutes away from group hotels in South Beach and downtown. Nestled among the neighborhood’s more than 50 art galleries, Zadok Gallery welcomes groups with six individualized gallery spaces, each adorned with seasonal, innovative artwork. The venue also offers exceptional educational programs like their Art Investment 101 course and guest artist lectures.
Opened in 2010, the 12,500-sf gallery space is spread out between two levels, hosting groups up to 700. Zadok has hosted a variety of group events in the past including product launches, trade shows, charity galas and dinner events. The gallery can also be configured sans the artwork.
“It’s a trendy alternative to a conference room,” says Cristina Smith, assistant art director. “We’ll host your event, give your group a tour, talk about the art that is on display, and show you a good time.”
Smith says one of her personal favorite ideas was a fashion show concept with a catwalk situated in one of the spaces downstairs, while guests watched from above in the gallery’s 2,430-sf mezzanine. She adds that the upstairs space is a favorite for small groups.
Groups can appreciate one of internationally-acclaimed Marshall Arisman’s collections, currently on display in the upstairs space. Smith tells us Arisman’s illustrations have appeared on the cover of TIME Magazine several times.
“It’s a really dynamic space to be in,” says Smith. “You’re having an intimate dinner surrounded by 20th century masterpieces. And one rule we live by is that if you can get it up here, we’ll have it.”
And with their service elevator, loading dock and outside storage area, there aren’t many things groups can’t get into the gallery.
